I find that I like nicolas cage best when he does quirky characters. I really liked him in adaptation, raising arizona, and bringing out the dead.

Oh I don't know, Winter... he's somewhat of a quirkily appealing "smart" guy... right? It's not just me? Right? Oh come on! HE's cute... except for that mullet thing in "ConAir" - that was just plain disturbing on a Billy Ray Cyrus level of disturb.
